Verify a round
Before a round opens we draw a team and a random nonce, and publish SHA-256(team_id | nonce). After it closes we publish both. This page recomputes that hash in your browser and compares it. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere, and the answer does not come from our server.
The committed value is the id, never the display name.
64 lowercase hex characters, published at reveal.
The hash published before bidding opened.
Or load a round's published values
A convenience, and the weakest way to use this page: the numbers come from us. Pasting values you saved earlier — or that somebody else saved — is the check that actually proves something.
Prefer not to trust a page we serve? fairness/verify.py is a standalone file with no dependencies that computes exactly this, and every round has a permanent proof page carrying the same numbers.
